Chris Harrop (Contributor)

Chris Harrop is Chair at Tennis Australia, an Advisory Partner at Bain & Company in Sydney and a former member of Bain’s global Board of Directors.

Chris was a NED of SVA from 2016 to 2025.

He’s a NED at Goodstart Early Learning which mproves early childhood development in Australia and co-founder of Restacking the Odds, an alliance between MCRI, SVA and Bain & Company to help young children who are experiencing vulnerability.

He has a passion for customer strategy and growth, especially in consumer products and services, and 30+ years of experience advising CEOs and senior executives in the US, Asia and Australia on strategic and operational issues. He joined Bain in San Francisco in 1993, after stints in marketing (adidas) and technology (IBM, NCR).
