Inclusion habits for operations leaders: evaluation summary
Evaluation of NAWO's Inclusion Habits program shows how frontline managers build inclusive habits through microlearning.
This evaluation explores the impact of Inclusion Habits for Operations Leaders, a 10-week program designed to help frontline managers create more inclusive workplaces. Delivered by the National Association of Women in Operations (NAWO), the program combines app-based microlearning, webinars and real-life behaviour experiments. Through the SVA Employer Innovation Lab, ten positions were offered to managers from two organisations to take part in the September 2024 cohort of the program.
SVA engaged BehavioursWorks Australia (BWA) to carry out an evaluation of the program focusing on behaviour change. The evaluation aimed to measure the impact of the program on inclusive behaviours and related workplace outcomes (e.g., workplace inclusion, psychological safety, job satisfaction) among participating managers. It also examined what aspects of the course were most effective for behaviour change, and what factors enabled or constrained behaviours.
The report presents all background information, methods, research findings, and recommendations as part of this evaluation.
