Shadid Ahmed

Manager, Impact Investing

Shadid Ahmed is a Manager at Social Ventures Australia, working across Impact Investing and Commissioning for Outcomes. He brings a strong background in strategy, leadership capability building, and transformation across both the social sector and private sector.

Prior to joining SVA, Shadid worked as an Associate at McKinsey & Company, working across a variety of strategy, commercial due diligence and transformation projects in banking, insurance, mining and the social sector. He also played a key role in expanding McKinsey’s philanthropic reach across Asia Pacific by deploying leadership capability programs for not-for-profits.

Shadid holds a Bachelor of Advanced Finance & Economics (Honours) from the University of Queensland.  Outside of work, he enjoys endurance sports, photography and spending time with family.
