Michaela Nutt, SVA Consulting, Darwin

Michaela is a Manager within the Darwin office of SVA’s Consulting team with experience in strategy development, impact measurement and community consultation.

A skilled facilitator, Michaela is passionate about supporting small not-for-profit organisations to connect with their stakeholders – delving deep into the ‘why’ and de-aggregating problems to determine actionable strategies for growth, sustainability and impact.

Prior to SVA, Michaela had a 20-year career as an arts advocate, designing place-based arts strategies and outcomes measurement frameworks for state and local governments, advocacy bodies and arts organisations across Melbourne, Northern Australia, and the United Kingdom.

Michaela holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts from Monash University and a Master of Arts Management from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.

As someone with lived experience of economic disadvantage who has been fortunate to be socially mobile, I aspire for everyone in Australia, regardless of their background or circumstances, to have the opportunity to thrive. SVA enables me to work across a broad range of sectors to help make this a reality. I am particularly passionate when working to solve problems in the arts, domestic and family violence, class inequity, youth at-risk and Northern Australian regional development sectors.” Michaela Nutt Manager, Consulting
