Katherine David

Consultant (VIC)

I’m passionate about the amazing work that happens each day in the for-purpose sector. At SVA, I’m surrounded by people with heart and determination to support these organisations to do their very best work for a fairer Australia.

Katherine is a Consultant in the Consulting team, with expertise in research, evaluation, strategy development, and outcomes management.

She works with non-profits and government agencies in the health and disability sector in particular. Since joining SVA, Katherine has worked on a diverse range of projects including evaluations of First Nations programs, supporting a primary health network to reform their commission of mental health services, and developing a research database documenting the evidence for early intervention across key social sectors for a government department.

Prior to joining SVA, Katherine worked at the Stroke Foundation, managing health quality improvement programs and leading key projects including the development of a national heart and stroke strategy, and a multi-year co-design project to support young stroke survivors. She also volunteered with a London university to develop a policy response database for the World Health Organisation during the Covid-19 pandemic.

She holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
