Kate Nicklin
Consultant (Qld)
“Access to foundational opportunities like health and education shouldn’t be determined by the lottery of birth. Recognising this inequity drives a shared responsibility to dismantle systemic barriers, operate from a place of gratitude, and focus energy on empowering communities that have been historically excluded.”
Kate is a Consultant in SVA’s Consulting team based in Brisbane. She brings expertise in impact measurement, outcomes frameworks, strategy development, and complex stakeholder engagement. Kate partners with non-profits, education providers, and government agencies to build evidence-informed strategies and scale their social impact.
At SVA, Kate has contributed to a diverse range of projects. Notable examples include leading a strategic sustainability review for an early childhood education provider, and developing an investment case and social value analysis to help a youth homelessness organisation scale its impact. She has also implemented comprehensive outcomes measurement frameworks for a major Queensland charity, and designed an evidence-based mentoring guide supporting alternative pathways into digital roles.
Prior to SVA, Kate specialised in ESG & Risk Advisory as an Assistant Manager in a national professional services organisation. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Human Geography from the University of New England.
