Biljana Nikolova

Executive Director, Social Impact Initiatives

Biljana brings 20+ years’ experience in investment banking and finance, combined with PhD in Finance (UNSW), specialising in emerging markets, and Harvard Business School Executive Education in Best Practice PE and VC investing.

This background and her deep understanding of the impact investing sector position Biljana well to bring together SVA’s expertise across the Social Impact Initiatives division to create unique and functional solutions that can create impact at scale. 

Biljana has held various senior executive roles and prior to joining SVA she was the General Manager of Government, Education, Community (GEC) at NAB, during which time she led the establishment of NAB’s Indigenous Business. She also held roles as Private Equity executive, corporate finance advisor, and honorary fellow and lecturer of Corporate Finance at Macquarie University, Master of Applied Finance.

Biljana Nikolova is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Western Sydney University’s External Advisory Committee and, most recently, has joined the board of the Women’s Housing Corporation.
